Winter (Dec - March)

From December to March, Kiruna is a magical winter wonderland. During December to mid-January, the sun doesn't rise at all, but there is a beautiful blue light during the day. Snow covers everything, and it's perfect for skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and watching the Northern Lights. As February and March come, the sun starts to shine more, lighting up the snow and making everything look golden and magical.
